After move 33. Jervis offered a draw and on consultation with the Captain it was agreed as this would effectively win the match …..however white’s next move is crushing -Ne6 threatening an unavoidable check mate!

 

The draw was agreed quickly as there was very little time left on the clocks of both opponents but the lesson here is …..have faith in your own plan.
